HODGSON Academy is taking its latest production – Little Shop of Horrors – to the Grand Theatre Blackpool. It will be the first time in the iconic venue’s history that a full school show has appeared on its stage.
The cast are well underway with rehearsals. The show’s producer Miss Edgar, Hodgson’s Lead Teacher of Performing Arts, said about Little Shop of Horrors: “This highly acclaimed and much loved musical stars a nerdy florist who finds his chance for success and romance with the help of a giant man-eating plant who demands to be fed. Love, laughter, desperation and fun… this is a show not to be missed!”
The show is appearing at the Grand Theatre on Friday 26th and Saturday 27th June (this is a change from the original March dates advertised), both starting at 7.30pm. Tickets, priced £10 for adults and £7 for under 26s and OAPs, are available from the Grand Theatre Box Office on Tel: 01253 290190.
