LONDON was the destination for a group of students and staff at the beginning of the summer holidays.
They visited several of the capital’s famous landmarks during the three-day trip, including the Houses of Parliament, St Paul’s Cathedral and the London Eye.
The group also watched two West End shows; Thriller at the Lyric Theatre and Billy Elliot at Victoria Palace Theatre.
Year 9 student Emma Ronson said: “Although the weather was absolutely terrible the whole time we were there, it was a great trip. We learnt all about the history and stories of the places we visited, many of which I had never been before, like the London Eye and Big Ben. The shows were also amazing.
“The trip was the best three days of my life so far and I loved every bit if it!”
