Acting Principal Derek Yarwood stated ““The academy are highly delighted with the results achieved by the Class of 2016. 86% of the students achieved a grade C or better in Mathematics and 84% in English. 80% achieved the new ‘basics’ measure of a grade C in both Maths and English whilst 78% achieved the old measure of 5 A*-C grades including Maths and English.
I would like to thank the staff for all their hard work as well as the students who were a great year group from day one. These results were a fitting way for Toni Roethling, our former Principal, to begin her retirement and the results are a testament to Toni’s drive and passion.”
