The PTFA has a shop on the academy premises that sells Hodgson uniforms directly from the manufacturer, thus bypassing high street retailers. This gives parents the opportunity to purchase high-quality uniforms at competitive prices. It also enables the PTFA to raise funds for the academy.
All profits made by the shop are put back into the academy, which benefits all students. In recent years, monies raised by the PTFA have helped towards funding a new performing arts studio, purchasing a new mini bus, improving academy buildings and boosting our specialist teaching and sporting equipment. The academy is immensely grateful for the wonderful work undertaken by Hodgson’s PTFA.
The PTFA Uniform Shop is open on Wednesdays 5pm to 7pm and Saturdays 10am to 12noon.
The shop will be open these times throughout the summer holidays.
Any purchases in the Uniform Shop can be paid for using MAESTRO, DELTA, VISA, MASTERCARD or CASH. Please note that special order items (i.e. not in stock) can take between eight to 10 weeks to arrive from the supplier.

Parent Teacher Friend Association
|Vice Chairperson||Julie Maudsley|
All parents can volunteer as members of Hodgson’s Parent Teacher Friend Association (PTFA). This group continually carries out vital fundraising on behalf of students and the academy.
Time commitments could vary according to your own personal circumstances; essentially any help is greatly appreciated. Volunteers are always needed to help in the uniform shop, with the catering at academy events or sharing the decision-making during committee meetings as to how funds raised by the group are spent within the academy.
There are four PTFA committee meetings earmarked each academy year, starting at 6.30pm. The committee always welcomes new members.
Parents are also welcome to join our Parent Forum meetings which follow each PTFA meeting at 7.30 pm – details via the following link.
