Parent Teacher Friend Association
Time commitments could vary according to your own personal circumstances but essentially any help is greatly appreciated. Volunteers are always needed to help in the uniform shop, with the catering at academy events or sharing the decision-making during committee meetings as to how funds raised by the group are spent within the academy.

PTFA Uniform Shop
Hodgson Academy PTFA are proud to be able to offer you a shop within the school where you can purchase all the correct, high-quality uniform you need for a student to study with us.
Our main aim is to supply the uniform at an affordable price, which will help both you as parents/carers, whilst also allowing the PTFA to raise funds. All the funds raised are put back into the Academy, which benefits all students. In recent years, we have helped towards funding a new performing arts studio, purchasing a new mini-bus, improving Academy buildings and boosting specialist teaching and sporting equipment.
Opening Times
Saturday morning 10am- 12pm and Wednesday evening 5pm-7pm - any changes to these times will be detailed below
Closures do occur during some of the holiday periods, but we are open during the six week summer break. As we are open outside of normal school hours, parking is allowed in the car park at the front of the main school building for your convenience.

The academy is immensely grateful for the wonderful work undertaken by Hodgson’s PTFA.
Orders may be placed electronically. By completing the order form we ask that you return it to the shop by email.
Your pack of uniform items will be made up and you will receive a confirmation email giving details of when it will be available for collection in line with the above days / times. The preferred method of payment will be bank transfer but arrangements will be in place for debit card / credit card payment on collection of the uniform. Whilst we would prefer that cash is not used, if this is absolutely necessary arrangements will be put in place.
We are very conscious that sometimes an item of clothing does not fit. Arrangements will be in place for you to return items to us, exchanges to take place and where necessary for you to access the shop for your child to try on a new size. Where this needs to take place an appropriate appointment time will be arranged for this to happen. Exchanges will only be agreed where there is proof of purchase, so please keep your original till receipt when it is issued.
I know that you will appreciate that the arrangements described above have been established to protect everybody’s health and safety during these unprecedented times.
